Well been pretty poor so havnt had the chance to get much new or open anything. I had some credit at the lcs so had to go scratch my itch. I got 4 packs of certified I was pretty happy with the hits but 2 of the 3 where damage so will be sending them in.

Thanks. I wish I could open more stuff, but then again it might be a good thing this years with the draft class I have not found that player from the 13 draft I would collect but theres always next year.

Yes, I've been preaching the fact that I refuse to purchase 2013 products. I consider 2013 as a loss, it's obvious on a collecting prospect as well as the Beckett value. As an example, in 2012, the average hobby boxes went for approximately $100.00. This years average is close to 50% less.

I've visited half a dozen sports card shops here in Ohio and every proprietor has shared with me that this years sales based on 2013 hobby boxes has been disappointing. Like your comment above, many shops are looking forward to the draft class of 2014 and that 2013 will be a lost in their books.

But all is not grim! I've been adamant about my continued dedication and passion in my continued purchasing of 2012 hobby boxes. What's great is that the majority of 2012 products are sold at 25% to 30% less. You can now buy a 2012 Panini Prime Signatures for $42.95, 2012 Panini Black for $164.00, and a 2012 Panini Crown Royale at $109.95 respectively. These are just some small examples.
