I just spent the last 30 minutes looking at Foles jerseys online, and I can't see anywhere that patch could come from.

Technically the company wouldn't be lying (like in the early / mid 2000's) either if it isn't his jersey... Because the cards only say "player worn memorabilia", which could literally mean anything.

They have players were "00" and "88" jerseys being that they allow more patch pieces for more cards....I stopped caring about jersey/patch cards awhile ago.

I think it's sideways. It might have come from the neck part of the jersey and got placed in the card sideways. I think that part is like 2 layers or so? You might have gotten the inside layer. Maybe a thought.

I've never read definitively that they (card companies) do this. While I don't doubt that they do this, I'd like to think they didn't. I also think that most people assume that when they pull a jersey / patch card, it's at least the players actual jersey.

Foles is right. I have Dalton cards that have rounded patches & he's number 14. Anything that is event worn is most likely an 88 or 00 jersey.

at the Rookie Premier. I think they hand them a stack of jerseys to wear & a stack of cards/stickers to sign when they come in the door. sucks for the rookie cards since they aren't actual GU jerseys but the patches still look cool most of the time..

Well, that sucks to realize these relics are just jersey's they signed in, or slipped on, then took off....what a sham!

Oh well, its a cool patch anyways....

Yeah, that is one of the reasons they usually say "event worn" now and not "game used"... Still sucks that it is just a jersey they slipped on, and not at least from like the rookie premiere or something...

The card does BV at $40, so you didn't do bad on it, especially since it's PC for you.

Yep, its going in the Foles box for the PC so I'm happy with the buy. I might be a lil more observant in the future when trading/buying patches tho.......I emphasize "might" .....lol.
