2014 Mailday from Schwood Part 1

To my fellow forum members,

I've been truly blessed in my time here on the third stone from the sun. It's been such an exciting journey, I realize that my path has ceased and now will restart into another phase in life. It's truly never ending! During my time, I have come across a myriad of life, religions, languages, and cultures including good and bad people. As I tell my children; "It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round, just consume the good, learn from the bad, and love yourself as you love others"!

Four years ago, I would have never imagined myself injured and retired. I would have never imagined my children moving out on their own while Mrs. Toshi and I tend to the cats and collect football cards. What? Football cards? Joining a forum with members with like ideas and a passion in sports cards is something unimaginable even a year ago. I, as a member of Cardboard Connection and Card Collectors world, have never met a better group of individuals that uplifts my spiritual growth and those to the betterment of humanity. This is something that other countries in conflict could learn from.

I still remember (Due to Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome which greatly affects my short term memory, I'm shocked that I can recall my first trade on CCW. I do understand that if the experience was a notable one, I somehow have stored this in my brain.) my first trade with Schwood. So many exciting New England Patriots cards and my first ever Teddy Bruschi card. Since that time, trades with Schwood have continued with the exception of gifts from him, a blessing if you will. Today is my blessing. I also have been informed of the Schwoods plans of a vacation in Ohio, and another trip exclusively for the National Sports Cards Convention in Cleveland. I am ever so grateful to him and excited to finally meet him and his family. I have posted photos of today's gift. A package completely dedicated to my all time favorite quaterback, none other than Brett Favre! There were so many that I picked some of my favorites to showcase here on CCW. Schwood, thank you so much. Please review the cards below and my comments in regards to why I have chosen the card specific.
