    Nice Platinum Surprise!

    Went to the LCS at lunch yesterday and he got some more hobby boxes of Platinum from the Chicago show over the weekend. He knew me and the boys wanted some so I was glad to see he came back with a few. I took 2 of them and the boys cracked them last night. Some nice hits for both, including 3 colors/prisms of Eddie Lacy for one and the oldest got the big hit!

    1 of 1 Yellow Printing Plate Cordelle Patterson Auto!! He thought it was a redemption at first and was kinda bummed! LOL!

    Any idea on value on this one? I've see plates anywhere from $50-$1200 on ebay so not sure where he would fall? In any event, the boy was jacked and was still talking about it before school this morning. Thanks for any info.

    I looked at eBay, and a search didn't show any C. Patterson printing plate autos sold, but since January it showed about 10 non-auto ones that have sold. Bowman Sterling and Topps Chrome ones sold for $40-$50, and a Topps Platinum had a best offer accepted at $39.99 or below.

    Of course, the "value" is only what you put on it, but I wouldn't trade it for less than $75-$100 at the low end if I were you (if you wanted to go that route). Patterson is a rookie that a lot of collectors are searching for, so I don't imagine you would have much trouble getting even more than that.
