2014 Upper deck Football progress...

As I take on this huge task of putting together this crazy nice set I'll be posting scans of the cards I have acquired through trades and purchases. It looks like the SP and SSP cards are going to be the toughest to put together. 1-150 was a cinch. Andrew Luck College Football heroes wasn't too hard, the regular College Football Heroes was pretty easy too, I bit the bullet and bought the last card in the mini set for a steal IMO. I only need 5 more cards to complete the Authentics Rookies set and 8 more to complete the '94 Tribute set. I still need 7 of the Bo Jackson College Football Heroes set. I believe it's retail exclusive so I'll pick them up through trades here I think. After I get the 3 previous sets finished I'll focus on SP/SSP. After that the Lettermen Auto Patch, '94 Tribute Autos, Authentics Rookies Autos, and College Tribute Patch set will be the next priority. I'm probably going to do the base autos (except 1-50 which are mostly HOFers and College greats). But the SP/SSP autos will be WAY too expensive and the B&W set /10 will be impossible to complete so I'll skip those two. If I can finish the sets I mentioned I'll be going after for sure I'd be extremely happy!

I'll be posting scans of completed sets as I finish them and Autos as they come in to my possession. Enjoy!

Thanks! This will take a long time to complete... just got the Authentics Rookies set done (Scans soon). After this, or during, I should be up to 1000 different Michael Irvin cards. I plan on making #1000 a BIG ONE to commemorate the momentous milestone. I have 927 in my Beckett Organize Section for different Irvins as of now. I've started a list of Cowboys players' RCs I'd like to add to my collection, as well as game used multi colored patch cards. There are also a few Cowboys sets I'd like to complete... '09 UD America's Team Set, '93 UD America's Team Set, '10 Classics Fiftieth Anniversary Set, and '10 Limited America's Team Set. These should keep me busy for a while! lol

Wow, 1000 Irving Cards!!!! That would be a phenomenal milestone. Please showcase that, I'm sure other forum members like myself would love to be a part of something as significant as that.

In 2013 I used to watch a NFL pre/post game show with someone named Michael Irving, Marshall Faulk, Mooch, Deion Sanders, and others I can't remember. I was shocked to see highlights of all these individuals, what great legendary athletes these individuals were! I've learned so much from highlights and most importantly cards from this forum that portrays these players and what they did in their contributions to their teams.

I hope every member continues to showcase their cards so that forum members like myself can educate ourselves in these Hall of Fame athletes.

This set should have been done 3 weeks ago. Long story short I got screwed on an eBay purchase... well I finally got that last card and can now show these off. Love this little set!

WOW!!! I can't believe this..... If you notice I have 2 of the same cards pictured in this set. I can't believe this happened! The card I had purchased 3 weeks ago was #39 Jeff Mathews. 3 weeks go by and I don't have the card. I open a case, seller refunds my money and I buy another #39 in its place to complete the set. I get it today and put it in my empty spot in my page. Welp! Turns out I needed #58 THE WHOLE TIME!!! I already had #39 that I purchased 3 weeks ago. WOW!!! Color me DUMB... well, enjoy the set minus #58 that I'll be looking for after I finish this sentence... wow......

Awesome work, I love the UD photography on these, obviously I wish there was more competition on NCAA cards, but, as an LSU fan, it's tough not to fall in love with that Jarvis Landry card (btw, calling it now, Landy will be a monster). Good luck with the collection.

Thanks guys. It's slow going right now. Seems like no one is busting any packs of this anymore so trades are few and far between. I did get that #58 issue fixed and replaced the scan. Next up will be the '94 Tribute set...

While I wait for the last 6 cards of the '94 Tribute set to come in I figured I'd show some AUTOS! As all of us know, some of these guys may not be in the league after this year. But some of them may end up being diamonds in the rough and become superstars. Most of these guys I'm showing were drafted late or not at all. Once I complete the non auto sets I'll pick up some bigger named auto cards when I have the money. Doubt I'll be getting many more trades for this set.
