  • Panini Redemption, does it again!

    To my fellow forum members,

Here is the mother of all card companies, Panini does it again for me. Not only was my 2012 Panini Black two and a half years in the rears, but it was fulfilled as a expired redemption, it was faithfully to the letter, redeemed as the card promised.

Way to go Panini. This is the kind of customer service we as collectors need to depend on, especially when a world renown corporation goes this far and beyond the call of duty to do so.

Here is my all time number one product as always, the year of its debut respectively. 2012 Panini Black. Why do I like this product as a collector? Black is the most difficult color on a card to reproduce a likeness of our favorite player on cardboard. Just a minuscule scratch on this card will look like a Grand Canyon size of a disaster. Finger prints are three times as worst the best of Topps Chrome. To sum up my redemption, Panini redemption, does it again!

Thank you for the read and reply,
    Toshi

    Here is the original redemption,

    Here is the final product,

I am easy, I collect any and all NFL cards. Individual players I really enjoy are Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, RGIII, and Russell Wilson. My passion is Favre rookie cards and vintage cards.

Wow, looks like a lot of effort went into that auto. Glad you got it though.

Yes, I finally got my auto card, a miracle at best even after I broke the hobby box open after the experation date. The auto could fit my name as the auto looks like an M for Miura! Only a few individuals which include sports athletes and Actors/Actresses will sign their name like a true John Hancock.

Some of the most beautiful autographs especially the most recent is Blair Walsh, Brett Favre, Jim Brown, to name just a few. Chris Rainey, Russell Wilson, and Andrew Luck, the two later of being my all time favorite QB's from the 2012 draft class have the most atrocious autos I've ever seen.

Glad you got your card. Still have 5 that I am waiting on (with Panini). Auto looks like a double lower case "L" to me. It would be nice if theses athletes could at least attempt a legible autograph instead of being passed through school on there athletic merits and not learning to write (or probably read in some cases).
I collect Andre Johnson, Redskins from the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies
(Manziel, Mike Evans, Jake Matthews, Ryan Swope, Sean Porter, Luke Joeckel, Damontre Moore, Ryan Tannehill, Cyrus Gray, Jeff Fuller, Martellus Bennett, Stephen McGee, Goodson, Jerrod Johnson, V. Miller, Acie Law, DeAndre Jordan, Antoine Wright, Justin Ruggiano, etc.).

The best auto I have ever gotten as far as penmanship was Goose Gossage. The worst auto I have gotten was Ryne Sandberg. The sad thing on the Ryno was that his early autos were very nice.

Your views as well as your eyes are an eagles eye view of sports card collection. This just by being a forum member to CCW is a important fact as a member of this community. It does look like an L. Lol! Another great example from you is the fact of why you're going after a HIGHER education or for most professional athletes. To be a able bodied (Most athletes have to do and or make use of an physically abused body) as the fact of the matter plainly is that after 2 to 5 years post the NFL career is needed for the next stage in next to the higher education in obtaining a job of higher learning if your physical and now the mentally, abled can try to obtain.

Thank you so much for the read and replying on all my threads,

                Toshi

Here are just some of my examples of autos that are not only legible but are iconic and favorite athletes of all times.

My all time favorite QB's auto!

P.S. I forgot to add these pics of some examples of my most greatest and my most disappointing QB's autos ever!

Heavy duty all time greatest autos of QB's! These are just some examples from my collection. The Unitas clean utterly awesome!!!!

Look how clean Johnny Unitas auto is, even if you're not a sports fan, the majority of examples of his autos are exemplary.

Now my idol and biggest fan of all things Brett Favre. This being his unofficial rookie card.

                      Now some very sad examples.

I can make out the R and whatever it is in the rest of Wilson's auto.

Remember the term "Chicken Scratch" from our old school days? Well here is a great example of one of the worst "Chicken Scratch" autos ever!

Here are two examples of modern day (Within the last 20 years or so) QB's with which whom have decent autos. First of my football modern day, autos is a TTM of a QB by the name of one of the greatest to play the game. Who? With Whom? Who is he? LOL?

                        None other than Peyton Manning.

Now for my current active young number one draft picks, a non-introduction is needed for Andrew Luck.

This card is from my all time favorite products, 2012 Panini Black! As mentioned previously in other threads, this is my favorite number one product of all time, an all time favorite of mines! Did I mention my all time favorite? LOL! It has it's faults that are out of my control is the chipped corners and the minute scratches that are almost Micro-Scopic at best, yet seem to come up with mega porous and Grand Canyon like defects!

Overall, the card stands out derivatively as beautifully as can be, especially with the gold pen flaked autograph and it's very attractive 2 color premium patch and it being one of Andrew Lucks most outstanding RPA's.

P.S. This was my very first high-end product that Mrs. Toshi first ever successfully pulled. Hence her first ever pulled and she has continued this winning streak. Now to get her to pull a multi-enhanced luck (Pun intended) Mega-Millions and all time record breaking Power-ball pulls.
