To my fellow forum members,

Trading cards was never ever something I've ever done in my life, ever. Is that enough "Evers" in one sentence? LOL! So this made this site the more appealing to me as I originally joined CCW as a interested reader of Cardboard Connection, to acclimate me in an educational way of collecting sports cards. Of which it did. I was taken aback at the thought of writing a thread as that was something I've never done before. Sharing my thoughts after my accident was hard enough, but to put it to pen was a whole different universe for me. Although Mrs. Toshi had created a Facebook and Twitter account for me, I have yet to utilize this outlet as I feared what was to come. A never ending aray of people asking and or pertains to questions of myself. And to think members of this wonderful forum actually traded cards between member to member was an unheard of philosophical view point to me. I asked myself is this really possible and how was this done?

As usual, I started with simple inexpensive cards from my collection. This was not something that was so easy for me as all my cards from my collection was a unique experience as I loved each and every card that I owned. Each card had a story to tell, each card had some type of memory in which how I obtained the card and each card spoke to me in a very personal way. Hence, I was infomously passionate about sports card collecting and or the collecting of football cards.

Thanks to many fellow forum members, I now own cards of other sports not to exclude baseball and basketball with a smattering of non-sports cards. It took me over a year to finally make my way up to the point in reference to trading a high end card with a financial premium for another high end card with another financial premium as well. This was a demarcation line that I had yet to cross.

In all honesty, if I had a hard time letting go of simple inexpensive cards, how can I let go of a very expensive card? I'm not saying that what I received in return was not worthy of my collection, that was just the opposite, I had become enamored with the multitudes of cards literally flying into my mailbox via USPS at times at speeds that I could not keep up with, that and the purchases of Blasterboxes as well as hobby boxes. Hence my request in always stating in a trade; "What ever you want to send me in regards to cards is fine with me, I am easy". With this rule of thumb, my collection has continued and will continue to grow thanks to all of you here.

This transaction was a new territory in itself. I was to trade my 2012 Panini Momentum RPA RGIII card for a 2012 Panini Absolute RPA RGIII card from one of the best forum members that I so respected in that of bcw716. I had originally just mockingly stated how that card would look good in my collection as I knew I already owned thanks to my daughters inherited attributes from Mrs. Toshi's intuition in choosing a hobby box at the "Nationals" in that of a 2012 Panini Absolute RPA Andrew Luck card.

So my goals had just done a 180. I was to also search and purchase at the lowest price point possible for all 2012 Panini Absolute RPA Die Cut "NFL" cards. Below you can see a start of my original and insightful program in another genre of collecting. Here is what I will be showing below today as well as my continued additions in the very near future!

2012 Panini Absolute RPA "NFL" Die Cut Andrew Luck

My daughter has inherited the King or Queen for that matter of the Midas touch. This card is a pull from a hobby box purchased at the "Nationals" of a 2012 Panini Absolute hobby box. This was my hit for that day.

Thank you, I've always wanted to obtain Absolute products when I first was exposed to these cards. I love the simplicity, with the added die cut as a elegant enhancement to be followed by an autograph. Thank you for the read and reply!

Yes, the Luck and RGIII made my day. I see some Foles every now and then including the Wilson, as you suggest, these are pricy cards with the rest of the set within my budget. Thank you for the read and reply!
