2014 Topps Mega Box (14' Topps, 14' Valor, 3 chrome rookies)

    2014 Topps Mega Box (14' Topps, 14' Valor, 3 chrome rookies)

    Well as we all know every year Topps makes a Mega Box with 7 packs of 14' football, few packs of Hobby( this year was 14' Topps Valor) and 3 exclusive Chrome rookie cards. Well while shopping at Wal-Mart today I did as I always do and slid over to the card section to see if they had any 14' Topps Prime since Target was out last week and I wanted to get another blaster. Well I seen the Mega Box and decided to give it a shot and see how the Valor cards looked, since I cannot afford the hobby boxes I decided to get one and try it out. Here is the break minus all the base, the 14' topps only brought a few inserts/parallels. The valor on the other hand was cool and had a nice hit, alongside the chrome rookies overall I was pleased with the outcome of the box, here are some pics.









    And the nice hit was a 14' Topps Valor Shield Of Honor 2 color patch/auto #SOF-AR Allen Robinson Rookie.

      Nice! I've been waiting for these boxes to show up this year. I'm headed to Wally World today to see if I can find one or two! I like the Valor stuff, kinda has the Inception look.

      Currently looking for:
      Football: The Gronk!
      Basketball: Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, & Michael Jordan, 90's refractors or #rd stuff, Damon Stoudamire, Penny, etc.
      Baseball: Paul Goldschmidt & Mike Trout
      + HOFer slab bed or raw.

      Collecting University of Arizona current and Alum players!!!

        I have tried 3 of them now. on sat I tried one at home and hit a jadevon clowney jumbo jersey /25. last night on my way to work stopped at a different walmart andtried another one and hit a devin street auto /25. well tonight after work tried my third box and hit a marshawn lynch auto /50 so am very pleased with them so far

          Some nice hits there fuser, yeah I may have to try another tommorow or I may wait and get a hobby box idk yet. But if anyone hits any A.j McCarron's I will be glad to work out a deal with them on any #/auto/Patch/jersey of his.

                A WORD OF NOTE!

                If you purchase a blaster of Topps, there will be a coupon worth up to $10.00 in Topps products. One of them will be a coupon of $1.00 off of a Megabox. I know it's not much but every penny counts these days. Make sure the blaster correctly states that a coupon is in the blaster box.

                To fellow readers and forum members of Cardboard Connection “CBC”and Card Collectors World “CCW”,

                This is one retail product that I strongly recomend fellow collectors to pick up at your local Big Ticket Stores, ie: Walmart, Target. Upon opening the Megabox, I was pleasantly surprised to find the Chrome Exclusive cards to be packed in cellophane. Being able to at least see one of these cards is excitement in itself.

                The two packs of hobby Valor paid itself in dividends. Having several packs of regular Topps was just icing on the cake. For collectors, the valor seemed to be the ticket, one of my fellow CCW forum members pulled a RPA. I pulled a low numbered insert “Strenght”. For young collectors, this is a great way of experiencing this hobby at a reasonable price point at $19.99. This Megabox is in truth a true value product.

                Veterans can go straight to the Chrome and Valor packs and can ogle their respective breaks. For the sheer enjoyment, Topps have Topped themselves once again. Pun intended!

                  Remembering all the success that everyone else had with these last year, I bought one of these Sunday. And as expected, nothing.
                  I collect Andre Johnson, Redskins from the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies
                  (Manziel, Mike Evans, Jake Matthews, Ryan Swope, Sean Porter, Luke Joeckel, Damontre Moore, Ryan Tannehill, Cyrus Gray, Jeff Fuller, Martellus Bennett, Stephen McGee, Goodson, Jerrod Johnson, V. Miller, Acie Law, DeAndre Jordan, Antoine Wright, Justin Ruggiano, etc.).

                      I was referring to hits. I know it isn't guaranteed, but last year it seemed like everyone was getting a hit with these. And it is happening again lol.

                          Let me know if you hit any McCarrons please....Seen one guy hit a nice 3 color RPA #/25 on Blowoutcards of McCarron but he has it on ebay for like $225

                            Well didnt pull any autos or gu, but got some good #'d cards from the topps 14 and valor. Also got some nice chrome rookies manziel, bortles and another just can't remember. Will list them on here tommorow. Tsands11 are u looking for only mccarron autos and g/u?
