To my fellow forum members,
We are only flesh and blood. In Western Africa, an Ebola outbreak spreads throuought causing a pandemic. To put things into perspective, we here could have been in the same situation except we would cause it to be a world wide epidemic. Lucky, that was not the case. Besides the point, citizens of the US had become afraid and with that had caused some serious and severe panic followed by anxiety. The whole nation was in a thrall. The difference was that we had one of the best medical facilities here as well as informative media coverage, at times the media over did itself. I feel without that over action, it could or would have been a little more dangerous.
Living here in North East Ohio, I'm sure you're well aware of how close we were from the concept as the next state to see an outbreak. This was a little too close for me. The wedding shop that had closed it's doors after the second infected nurse had tried out a few dresses is still closed waiting upon a decontamination. I recall taking my daughter and her friends there several years ago for some dresses to try out for their homecoming.
My reason in writing this is to remind us all that tomorrow might not be here. Always cherish the moment, always help others, always love one another, and always understand that we are blessed by whatever God you follow because we are just but flesh and blood.
Since I had become a forum member of CCW, I have always utilized my concept to give freely, only good things happen. Call it Karma if you will. azdbacks1998 had always been there for me in answering my questions in regards to football card collecting. In return, I know he was an avid collector of any NFL player whom was an alumni of University of Arizona. Whenever a rookie from U of A made the roster, I made sure that card went out to him. In this most recent collecting year it has been Ka'Deem Carey. His voice continued to sound out; "Whatever you see in my collection? It's yours".
As time passed I noticed a 1/1 printing plate. I've never owned nor seen one of such. So when I asked him if he would trade for it, he mentioned that it's my card. Yesterday a 200 count corrugated white storage box was delivered to my home. In it was the printing plate and several surprises. As long as we help one another and have compassion for our fellow man, there will always be a tomorrow.
