To my fellow forum members,
Once again, here is my description of a purchase at Target. First of all, I noticed that at this particular Target, whom ever cares/maintains for this specific sports card aisle does an absolutely fantastic work on presentation and the ability to be able to meet and or exceed collectors expectations.
This is the very same Target in which that I found several of my most recent threads topics in regards to football "Blaster Boxes" cards. I'm not knocking Walmart stores at all but, just the presentation and general visual lack of sports cards at Walmart is disappointing at best. Today's purchase will be one of my first of many "Blaster Boxes" from Target.
In particular, this thread is dedicated to "2014 Panini Prizm" cards. The quality of the card stock borders on mid-level to a entry level high-end product. So tough is the Prizm cards in that of it could be utilized for drink coasters. LOL! My favorite area of description is the how closely it competes with a "Topps Chrome" card product. Literally, the; "Uooo look at how shiny these cards are".
The other noticeable trait is this years inclusion of jersey patches, correct me if I'm wrong but, I did not see any jersey cards starting from 2012, it's first ever "Prizm" debut, up until the 2014 release. I purchased 2 hobby boxes of Prizm in 2012 and did not pull any jersey cards. Also of interest is this years very noticeable additions "Die-Cuts" cards. Just take a look at the "Intro" card. It is very well laid out and yet have such detail within or on the "Prizm" card.
Finally the varied almost blinding colored parallels actually work great to "Prizm" strengths. My favorite card of this break has to be the "Legion of Boom", describing the Seahawks defensive side. Without further adieu, here is my break. Thank you so much for reading and replying on my threads, you just don't know how a simple reply makes my day.
Here is my patch card "Dirty Laundry" of Donte Moncrief.

A really cool colored parallel. The red is offset by the yellow.
