    Absolute Authentics (Brees Mini Helmet Help)

    Hey all, first time poster, long time lurker, and I love the site.

    Big saints fan here, and a few years ago, my wife bought me a signed Brees mini helmet as a Christmas gift, and I love her for it.

    I just recently got into collecting memorabilia for my other favorite players, and it got me thinking.

    The mini helmet she got me has the Drew Brees hologram on it, as well as a COA with hologram (and matching hologram on the helmet itself) from absolute authentics.

    I am trying to tell if this thing is real. The website (www.absoluteauthentics.com) doesnt exist. The hologram has serial numbers on it (AA83883) but there is no way for me to verify anything.

    Is the Brees hologram enough to let me rest easy? Hsa anyone ever heard of Absolute Authentics? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have attached a few pics, if it helps at all.

    You should be fine w/ the Brees Hologram. His people add that sticker separately from whichever company he's signing for. As for AAA, I have a Dalton mini from them & it looks like the other 100 or so autos I have of him so I have no doubt it's real.

    I've gotten to where I personally only buy if certified by GTSM, PSA/DNA, JSA, Upper Deck, Steiner, Mounted Memories, the players hologram, TriStar and/or Leaf. Anything else is iffy to me.

      Thanks for taking the time to answer. I completely agree with you, now that I know a little more, I will only buy steiner, gtsm, psa/dna, etc.

      My wife got the helmet for me like i said, so I was curious.

      The Brees holo does make me feel a bit better about it, yeah.
