Recent Pickups For The PC

Was able to snag my first 1/1 today for the Jonas Gustavsson PC (card on left). The yellow printing plate was not my first choice as I prefer magenta, black, or cyan, but got it at a fraction of the price compared others I tried to win this week, so I went for it. It"s out of the brand new The Cup. Also, was able to get a Steven Stamkos Young Gun rookie, a James Reimer YG(Leafs 3rd string goalie, and future starter), and a SPA Future Watch Gustavsson rookie auto.

Thanks Ed! The only way I can get The Cup cards, is if I buy them one at a time. My first printing plate, and first 1/1 ever. Can't wait to get it.

i love the cup myself, but the packs are way too expensive, and the individual cards tend to be more than I want to spend on hockey stuff, since I have a limited amount of money for cards- and with no hockey team locally, i dont really have a PC guy

True, but Reimer is suppose to be the next one. Then again, I've heard that before with Justin Pogge, so who knows?

The Parse plate was in the same auction pic with my Gustavsson. I don*'t own that one.

Funny thing is the magenta 1/1 plate matching my yellow one is up now on a BIN for $189. Needless to say, I won't be going for the set.

I live The Cup cards, like everyone collector. I have a couple of the 2010 cards/autos, but would really like to pickup a printing plate or two. I've been looking at the Sabres ones, but it's not looking good with prices. How many dif colors are there?

Thanks! There are 4 different colored plates. Yellow, black, magenta(red), and cyan(blue).

Just won this one for the Leafs PC. It is from the brand new 10-11 Donruss, and is the diecut version #2/25. Pretty happy about it as they fall at 2 per case on average.

Another pickup for the Leafs PC tonight. These were only available at the Upper Deck corporate booth during the Toronto Expo, and were given out as a bonus when you busted a specified box of UD product in their presence. I actually did one there, and pulled the best one available in Evgeny Malkin, and since kessel was traded to Toronto, I've wanted to add this limited one to the collection. Only 40 were made, and not all were given out at the show.
