Panini Peek: Crown Royale Hockey's Unparalleled Rookie Card Parallels

[The Question]

I’m among the fortuitous*few*who happened to be present earlier today when five unsigned*Rookie Silhouettes inserts from the forthcoming 2010-11 Crown Royale Hockey set arrived in the building, hot off the printing press.

What I saw left me knee-weak and borderline breathless.



These particular*gems are*part of the Rookie Silhouette Patch*set, a parallel to Crown Royale’s equally gorgeous Rookie Silhouette Rookie Cards. Not long after I spent a few torrid*minutes with them for scanning purposes,*the cards were*boxed and on their way to the respective players for on-card*autographs.

Fittingly, 2010-11 Crown Royale Hockey is slated to arrive just two days after Valentine’s Day. After all,*we have a feeling*collectors will be falling head over heels in love with these beauties.

And anyone who thinks hockey cards can’t be beautiful clearly have yet to see these . . .*
