  • Favorite Comic Book Storylines

What are some of your favorite comic book storylines? I was huge into comics when I was younger, not so much anymore. When I was collecting comics, they still used newspaper print and it costs $1.25 to $1.50 each. I mainly focused on X-Men comics. Last time I bought a comic book was over 10 years ago.

In that time, these were some of my favorite comic book storylines that I read

    Age of Apocalypse
    Fatal Attractions
    Marvel Vs DC
    X-Cutioner's Song
    X-Men Onslaught

I started reading and collecting comics when they cost 12 cents each. 5 comics and a candy bar for less than a buck......those were the days!

I have had alot of favorite storylines over the years although I really miss the days when a story started and finished in the same issue.

A couple of storylines I have enjoyed off the top of my head would be-

    Spider-man- Sin-Eater storyline
Batman- Breaking of the Bat storyline
    Superman- Death of Superman
    Avengers- Disassembled storyline
I'm easy to trade with.Don't be afraid to make offers.
I collect Non-Sport cards,Comics,Toys.Cincinnati Reds and anything related to TV Westerns.

The only series i really got into was Ultimate Spider-man.

But then i stopped going to the comic shop and i only had issues #1-65. I think it ended in the 120s or 130s. Not sure though.

I'm really enjoying the stuff from Zenescope Entertainment right now too.

Reminds me of the old horror stuff from the 60's and 70's with a present day twist to it.

That and the art is eyeappealing

LOL, ugh, not thoroughly knowledged in the whole deal. I just remember loving to play with the Secret Wars marvel figures as a young kid (1985 I think) and then noticing that there was a whole run of comics about it and thought it would be cool to read them. So I honestly don't know how to answer that question other then to say 1-3

For me, it was the whole Death of superman, Reign of the Supermen thing.
