I decided to steal an idea from some of my buds here and start a showoff PC Thread. So for each entry I will give a little info and show a PC gem!
1991 Pro Set World League John Layfield

Before he was Hawk, or an Acolyte, part of APA, or JBL he was John Layfield. I remember picking up this ProSet Box Set cheap at a show-maybe $5. I opened it way back then, probably 92, and filed it away with my football commons. Years later as JBL became more and more popular, I remember them mentioning his football career and flashing a graphic with this card from that set. I thought to myself: "I think I have that one!". So I did a little inspecting and found this cool card buried in a 400 count box. It says on the last line that he amuses San Antonio team-mates with his Hulk Hogan impersonation. LOL. Pretty cool to me to own a football card of a self proclaimed "Wrestling God"!

awesome...love the cards of players not in theoir sport

one of my favorite cards is a baseball card of Danny Ainge...somehow I think he did better for himself as an NBA Player

JBL was one of those wrestlers that at first I never took as a main eventer when he beat Eddie Guerrero for the title. After a few months, he really grew into his Wall Street character and was great on the mic. He was hilarious on commentary too.
