Press Pass, Inc. Announces Complete 2010 Trading Card Release Schedule
2010 Release Schedule Includes New Professional Bull Riding, NASCAR Products

Charlotte, N.C. – Press Pass, Inc. is excited to announce another full line-up of trading card products this year, with the first racing product of 2010, Wheels Element, set to hit retailers by the end of the month. The company has made public its entire product release schedule on its Web site for the complete calendar year. The 2010 list features two brand new products, including a Professional Bull Riding (PBR) set which will showcase some of the best bull riders in the country, as well as a high-end “super premium” NASCAR product to be unveiled later this year.

“This is going to be another action-packed year here at Press Pass and we are thrilled about the release of both of our new products and our traditional products that will be returning to shelves,” said Tom Farrell, Vice President of Brand Management at Press Pass, Inc. “We are kicking the year off with a great product in the Wheels Element card set that features some of the top female drivers in racing, and are equally excited to see what our collector response is to our PBR product.”

In addition to its racing and football products, Press Pass, Inc. will introduce its brand new PBR 2010 set which makes its debut in retailers early next month. Professional Bull Riding – which is considered by many to be the toughest sport on earth – has a following of over 1.5 million and is quickly gaining popularity among fans and collectors of all sports. PBR 2010 will attempt to capture all of the excitement the sport has to offer, featuring current and retired bull riders, four current bullfighters, and the sport’s “official entertainer,” Flint Rasmussen. Each hobby box will contain three authentic event-used memorabilia cards and three autograph cards featuring 2009 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) World Champion Kody Lostroh, current BFTS leader J.B. Mauney and 2008 World Champion Guilherme Marchi.

Among the racing products returning to the release schedule in 2010 are Wheels Element, Eclipse, Premium and Stealth. Wheels Element features some of NASCAR’s top female drivers including IndyCar Series driver Danica Patrick, who will make an entrance in the NASCAR Nationwide Series scene this year. This 100-card base set is printed entirely on recycled card stock material and features a classic look. With the Wheels Element release, Press Pass, Inc. will be the first to document Patrick’s historic move to NASCAR while also highlighting some of the sport’s other top female drivers. The 2010 Eclipse product will feature a 90-card base set, exclusively highlighting NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers and previewing all of the changes in store for the upcoming season. Each hobby box will include one autograph and three race-used memorabilia cards. Eclipse is also the only Press Pass product to provide collectors access to “The Vault,” which contains a wide assortment of autograph and memorabilia prizes.

Press Pass Inc.’s 2010 Premium product will be the first racing product of the year to showcase drivers in their 2010 firesuits – featuring those worn by some of the most talked-about drivers in NASCAR today, such as Patrick and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Premium will also include new dual firesuit and autograph cards as well as oversized Signature Series firesuit cards with the driver’s autograph on the firesuit itself. Stealth, which remains the only Press Pass brand with distinctive hobby and retail base sets, includes a 90-card hobby base set printed on holographic board and will feature a new “sleek” design this year. Each Stealth hobby box will contain one autograph and one race-used memorabilia card and will feature the first race-used sheet metal cards of the drivers who pull “double duty” each week, racing in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Nationwide Series.

After an overwhelmingly positive response last year, Showcase will make a triumphant return to stores this year. Showcase is the ultimate product for the die-hard NASCAR collector and delivers a tremendous value by offering rare cards from some of the sport’s top talent. Each Showcase pack will include either an autograph or race-used memorabilia card from one of NASCAR’s elite drivers and will feature both teammate autograph and memorabilia cards. The set will also include oversized autographed memorabilia cards with some of the hottest memorabilia items available. The Wheels Main Event brand has a history of innovation and consistently offers a refreshing take on the classic sport of NASCAR. This year will be no exception as the sport’s top contenders will face off in the “Main Event” with the product covering all of the knock-down, drag-out action in the ring as drivers clash with their opponents and fight for the championship. Main Event will feature an extensive autograph line-up of some of the sport’s fiercest competitors and a solid line-up of glowing-hot, race-used memorabilia straight from the track. Each Main Event hobby box will contain one autograph and two memorabilia cards.

Collectors can also expect the release of the traditional Press Pass Legends Racing product, set for a fall release date. Legends is the only Press Pass brand that provides in-depth content focused on motorsports pioneers and legends and this year’s product will offer collectors the opportunity to take a closer look at some of the greatest racing teams of all time and the drivers and owners that made these teams the legends they are today. Each six-pack mini-box will contain one autograph and one memorabilia card boasting a comprehensive roster of past, present and future racing stars. Check out Legends Racing this year and collect some “never done before” pairings of legendary drivers who competed for the same racing teams.

Press Pass, Inc.’s football products to be released throughout the year include 2010 Press Pass Football, Press Pass Portrait Edition and Press Pass Legends Football. Set to debut in stores this spring, Press Pass Football “Draft Pick” will focus on delivering the first trading, autograph and game-used memorabilia cards to fans and collectors and will include a 100-card base set that features some of the top names in college football like Tim Tebow, Sam Bradford and Jimmy Clausen. Portrait Edition will also feature the new 2010 draft picks using unique helmet-off photography and will deliver an autograph or game-used jersey card in every other hobby pack. The product is set to include exclusive autographs from the draft picks, and the cards will be the first on the market to include the rookies’ new team information. Finally, Press Pass Legends Football will feature the 2010 draft picks plus a variety of retired NFL players sporting their college uniforms. The images used throughout the set will feature unique artwork of the athletes.

In addition to the new PBR 2010 set and its racing and football products, Press Pass Inc.’s popular entertainment sets, KISS (Series 3) and Elvis 2010 will also be returning to shelves this year with spring and fall debuts, respectively. Two traditional Press Pass products –VIP and Press Pass 2 – are noticeably absent from the release calendar this year. These two products are on a temporary hiatus with the probability of returning in 2011 or beyond. Meanwhile, collectors can enjoy the countless other Press Pass products returning throughout the year and can stay tuned for more information regarding the high-end “super premium” NASCAR product that has a release date set for late this year.

So we're losing two releases (VIP and the PP2/Trackside release), and adding another high end product?

Don't like the road racing is going down....seems to be going the way of stick and ball sports with these new high end products that don't hold their value and flood the market unless you hit an amazing superstar card...

    Collecting: Browns/Cavaliers/Indians GU/Autos,
Ohio State Autos, Jamaal Charles GU/Autos,
