Indians trade 3B Peralta to Tigers (AP)

[The Question]

The Cleveland Indians have traded third baseman Jhonny Peralta to the Detroit Tigers for minor league left-hander Giovanni Soto. Peralta was in the lineup for Cleveland's game against the New York Yankees on Wednesday, but was pulled at about 6 p.m. He's batting .246 with seven homers and 43 RBIs in 91 games.

Have you seen Don Kelly play? LOL!

Anything is an upgrade over him, plus Peralta has great numbers against the Sox/Twins this year which will be important...He won't be back next year or even playing when Inge is back but something is better than nothing, and the tribe is paying the remaining of his salary for this season
