    Padres acquire Tejada from Orioles (AP)

    A person familiar with the deal says the NL West-leading San Diego Padres have traded for Baltimore infielder Miguel Tejada. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because neither club had made an announcement Thursday. The person said Major League Baseball must approve the deal before it becomes official.

    I hate to see Tejada go. However, hopefully they'll get a good pitcher for him.
