Braves acquire 1B Lee from Cubs (AP)

[The Question]

The Atlanta Braves have acquired first baseman Derrek Lee from the Chicago Cubs. Lee has put up disappointing numbers in the final season of his five-year, $65 million contract, hitting .251 with 16 homers and 56 RBIs. He's also been bothered by a sore back that kept him out of the Cubs' game Wednesday against San Diego.

atlanta's going all out to give bobby one more ring. i bet they completely dismantle the team in the offseason and start rebuilding next year...

So he vetoes a trade to the Angels (I know they suck this season) because he didnt want to leave Chicago. Then he approves a trade to the Braves.
