  • Braves acquire 2B Uggla from Marlins (AP)

Power-hitting second baseman Dan Uggla has been traded from the Florida Marlins to the Atlanta Braves for infielder Omar Infante and left-hander Mike Dunn. A two-time All-Star, Uggla hit .287 with 33 homers and 105 RBIs last season and had been discussing a possible contract extension with Florida. Infante was a first-time All-Star who hit a career-high .321 with eight homers and 47 RBIs.

Uggla is a good solid second baseman. Im surprised he turned down the Marlins offer of 4 years $50 million.

Looks like the Marlins are getting rid of a lot of their high $ players again. Uggla, in my opinion, was a major part of their offensive backbone.

The main items Im looking to trade for are
          Baseball HOFers Autos I need
          Orioles Autos I need
          Baseball HOFers GU I need
          Orioles GU I need
          Vintage Orioles I need 1950s through 1970
However other offers will be considered
