You're all for the Tigers spending $17 million on a 33-year old reliever with a career 4.50 ERA?

I could flip that and say look at what he did his first 8 years in the Majors, none of which were impressive....

And I don't get why you'd even want Dunn....

A.) Power numbers will decrease playing in Comerica (I know Miggy's didnt, but Dunn's not anything near Miggy, you can't play that card)
              B.) He's a career .250 hitter
C.) He doesn't wanna DH, which will make him a HUGE liability in that outfield

I can't figure out why you'd wanna pay someone around $15M a year who has more negatives than positives, given the situation he'd be in.

                A) I'm aware but he'll still get 35 HRs, and he provides GREAT protection as a #5 hitter to Miggy

                B) Again aware of this

                C) Still aware but he cant be much worse than Raburn or Boesch were in the outfield, its impossible to be worse than those 2.

You clearly haven't watched Dunn play outfield then....
