    Right fielder Jayson Werth has agreed to a $126 million, seven-year contract with the Washington Nationals. The first deal of the winter meetings was announced Sunday while Major League Baseball was still setting up the news conference room, and it was a big one.

        What were the Nationals thinking? Its one thing when they threw a ton of money at Mark Teixiera a few years ago, but Jayson Werth $18 mil per season for 7 years?
