My only issues are Matt Kemp needs to start this game, his numbers are ridiculous and

I know its just an allstar game, bu the players most deserving need to start, the NL is getting it right by seeing the guys that are deserving are catching up and are about to take the lead for their position, whereas the AL players are losing some ground or barely making any up.

Unfortunately a lot, a very large lot, of people only vote by TEAM and not by those that deserve a shot at being a starter in the ALL STAR GAME. Three O's should have a shot at being STARTERS, but NONE of them are even in the TOP FIVE of their position. Those players are --- MATT WIETERS catcher - the BEST at throwing out those who try to steal, ADAM JONES centerfield - good hitter, good runner, GREAT defense (probably the best), J J HARDY shortstop - Jeter can't even come near to J J this season in his hitting and defense. The N L list looks a little more honest in the votes that have been cast so far.

In my opinion, I think they should take the voting from ALL STAR's from the fans and give it to the players,managers,coaches, and maybe the sportswriters. I think they there would be a more deserved group selected as starters.
