    Jordan Walden Becomes An All-Star

    Angel fans have another All-Star to cheer for on July 12th and he's only a rookie.

    MLB tweeted:
    Angels closer Jordan Walden has been named to replace Yankees closer Mariano Rivera on the AL roster for the @AllStarGame.
    Walden joins (P) Jered Weaver and (2B) Howie Kendrick who were both selected to the American League roster last Sunday.

      Good young pitcher. 24 years old Throws alot of Stikes. High K Rate, over 9 Ks/9. Tends to allow alot of base runners and has a high whip and era for an elite closer, but again makes up for it with the Ks. Going to be a very solid Closer, wouldn't be shocked if in 15 years from now we are looking at a 400 save guy with about 10 All Star games.
