O's WIN !!!!!!!!!

The "BIRDS" beat the YANKEES in a tight 11 inning game today 5-4, ending their losing streak and the Yankees winning streak. One more game between these two teams for the season, and it's in Baltimore tomorrow. Hopefully the "Birds" can use today's WIN as the beginning of a nice WIN STREAK.

Mark Reynolds hit a tiebreaking single in the 11th inning after striking out four times and the Baltimore Orioles outlasted the New York Yankees 5-4 on Wednesday in another soggy game between two sleep-deprived teams. Less than 11 hours after the Yankees completed a rain-delayed victory, the teams were back at it in the Bronx.

Rob, not really, they have won a few more than that (even though at the beginning of the season they'd have a BETTER record). But it could represent the # of victories Notre Dame's football team gets (after their recent upset ). Wouldn't nine (# of !'s) be nice for the FIGHTING IRISH ?

Since the "Birds" are out (and have been for a good while), I hope the RED SOX surpass the Yankees. The Yankees may want to keep their eyes on those Rays too.

How about those "BIRDS", they beat the Yankees again today !!!!!! They did much better in the 2nd nine games(4-5) than they did on the 1st nine(1-8) against the Yankees. I think they found the Yankees WEAK SPOT - EXTRA INNING GAMES. I think the Yankees are 4-9 in extra inning games, they better hope they don't have to play in any in the playoffs (if the Rays don't over take them).
