although he is deserving of an MVP award they wont give it to him.. dont get me wrong I love verlander but I cant see the powers that be giving a pitcher an MVP award even though its been done before.. it probably wont happen again..

If the Yankees win the A L East, my guess is that Granderson will win the A L MVP with Verlander coming in 2nd. However, if the Tigers overtake the Yankees and end up as the #1 seed in the A L playoffs, and Verlander wins #25, he'll end up as the A L MVP.

Joey Bats (A.K.A. Jose Bautista) should win the M.V.P. Award, cause if the Jays didn't have bautista, they would be 30 games back of BALTIMORE, yes, maybe it was a little dramatic there maybe 20 back but 304/42/100 on a terrible team who is destined to hold the playoff fate of the angels and rays, who deseavers the American League M.V.P

I agree with Rodney. If they choose a position player to win the MVP, I would also say Granderson based on his stats since he is having a career year.

but, this was the same situation with bautista last year, great HR and RBI numbers, but a terrible average will will curtis's MVP chanches
