    Who Is Your Favorite Baseball Player?

    My favorite all time baseball player is Ken Griffey Jr. For the brief time I collected baseball cards, the 2 main players I focused on were Ken Griffey Jr and Frank Thomas. Both players were amazing to watch and put up monster numbers.

    As a kid my favorite players were Nellie Fox in the A L & Willie Mays in the N L. "Brooksie" was my next pick. Later on, when I got back into collecting (1991), it was Cal Ripken. At present, I don't have a favorite player.

    The main items Im looking to trade for are
    Baseball HOFers Autos I need
    Orioles Autos I need
    Baseball HOFers GU I need
    Orioles GU I need
    Vintage Orioles I need 1950s through 1970
    However other offers will be considered

      Justin Verlander & Alex Avila...Can't really pick against either, was a fan from the first time I watched Verlander pitch, same for Avila, but for the first game he played in. The begining of this season, and all of last season, most Tigers fans hated Avila, saying he only had a job because his dad was the assistant GM, well, they aren't saying that any longer!

          Griffey is my all-time favorite also. Growing up, there was nothing cooler than watching that sweet stroke of his.

          As far as current, Asdrubal Cabrera. Love his defense.

            Just look at my id and it tells you who my favorite player is.

            The Big Hurt Frank Thomas.

            Going to the games with my dad and friends and watching Frank smash monster HR's are great memories.
            Still collecting Frank Thomas in any uni and HoFer G/U & Auto's.

            I do not trade nor buy at "eBay values", unless a card is so rare that it is unlisted.

              Griffey's always been my favorite as well. He is my number 1 collecting focus and at this time I've acquired over 4,500 different cards of him.

                Growing up it was always Griffey and Ripken Jr. I guess I actually need to buckle down and pick a player to follow that actually still plays. Maybe it would have to be Longoria.

                          As a kid, I loved the way Pete Rose played "Charlie Hustle". As a teenager, Kirby Puckett was my favorite. Now, It would have to be Jim Thome.
                          Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel
                          Favorite football players include: Peyton Manning, John Elway, Daunte Culpepper, Mike Alstott, Blake Bortles, and Dri Archer
                          Collecting: 2012 Topps Mini 1987 topps... non-certified autos (in person or through the mail), autographed cards with bible verses

                            Pete Rose (my hero in my youth)
                            Jim Thome (Watched him since the minors, glad hes back)
                            Kipnis- Maybe (as Thome winds down, Im keeping an eye on this promising tribesman)
