The Chicago White Sox have named Robin Ventura as their new manager. Ventura has never been a manager before.

i know, but it wasnt a secret that Reinsdorph didnt want to have to spend the kind of money it wouldve taken to lure a LaRussa or Francona-like manager to manage on the South Side,so he went the cheap route again,my only question,is does Robin retain Don Cooper,Greg Walker, and Harold Baines as coaches, and who will he replace Joey Cora with as bench coach, since its been rumored Joey's going to Florida to take over the same position with Ozzie?Originally posted by ocanseco55 View PostComment

Ventura any good at signing TTM? I watched him when I lived in Sarasota (spring training) and always liked the guy. He certainly is smart and a good hitter, but will that translate to a good manager? Time will tell.Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel
Favorite football players include: Peyton Manning, John Elway, Daunte Culpepper, Mike Alstott, Blake Bortles, and Dri Archer
Collecting: 2012 Topps Mini 1987 topps... non-certified autos (in person or through the mail), autographed cards with bible versesComment
