The Texas Rangers have traded catcher Taylor Teagarden to the Baltimore Orioles for minor league right-hander Randy Henry and a player to be named.

Kerwin, I don't know anything about Teagarden. However, I also haven't heard of Henry. I went to a few Tides (O's triple A affiliate) games this past season and don't remember him being on the roster. I assume, if Teagarden makes the "Birds", he'll be a back-up catcher to Wieters or they'll try to convert him to 1st or 3rd. If they traded Henry he must not have been considered a possible pitcher for the "Birds" in 2012. That's what the "Birds' need for 2021, good pitching.
