OMG the Angels actually did something right for once. I dont care how much money and years they gave him, they just signed the best player in baseball. They pay Vernon Wells $23 million a season, so obviously I could care less how much they are spending. ANGELS GOT PUJOLS!!!

Albert Pujols will leave St. Louis and sign with the Los Angeles Angels, sources said Thursday morning. The Angels will pay Pujols $250 million to $260 million over 10 years.

I agree that at least putting him in an AL uniform allows him to take some swings at DH. I would think that he could play 110 games at 1B and about 50 at DH.

How did Cabrera sell out??? He never bailed on the Marlins, they traded him and he signed a big deal with Detroit. Pujols is a sellout and will lose lots of respect in my book. The Cardinals and their fans treated him like a God there!!! He can't even prove legal documents that he is only 31 years old, so IMO in 5 years or so they will be paying him $25 million per year for a guy that is about as productive as Jim Thome is now who is also often injured. C.J Wilson is just a bad signing for the money as he is proven inconsistent and probably just a .500 pitcher

I just saw your edit, I'm not really sure how Miggy sold out. He was traded because the Marlins had no interest to keep him and pay him. They traded him to the Tigers who (at the time) traded the Marlins two of the top prospects in Baseball, and then signed Cabrera right away to a 8 year deal because they wanted to keep him. (and they took Dontrelle's salary off the Marlins)

I don't see where the same result is..please explain though as i'm pretty sure you forgot he was traded.

That being said he goes to a league where he can extend his career and dh . He did not owe ST. Louis anything. None of the athletes do for that matter.

As far as Wilson Bob we as fans do not write checks so who cares. Some of you get caught up in the business aspect a bit too much and that is your only pillow you somehow seem you can fall back on

So any athlete that does not give a hometown discount and leaves is a sellout? At least Albert brought titles.
