    The Cardinals and Rafael Furcal have reached agreement on two-year deal, pending a physical, a source tells Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com (via Twitter). Furcal's two-year deal will likely come in around $14MM, a source tells Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports (via Twitter).

    At least they didnt panic and splurge $80+ million for Jimmy Rollins. It a short deal (2 years) that wont affect the team if Furcal gets injured/doesnt live up to his contract.

        He will do awesome through May then get hurt. Come back mid-August and do awesome again. This is for both years of the contract.
