The Athletics and Bartolo Colon have agreed to a one-year contract, reports ESPN's Jayson Stark. The deal is still pending a physical.

MLB.com's Joey Nowak reports that the deal is worth nearly $2MM and could include a signing bonus. Both sides are still working to finalize the agreement.

He was solid last year. not like in his prime like key2win said, but solid for the Yanks. He did a lot better than I thought he would from coming off of injuries.
