Fantasy baseball trade question

normal rotisserie scoring, 100% keeper league...I have 2 3B (Ryan ZImmerman and Pablo Sandoval) but can use one at DH. My main pitchers are Verlander, Haren, then drops down to Pavano, Brandon Mccarthy and Bruce Chen.

Trade offer made to me:

I give up Ryan Zimmerman
I get P Josh Beckett and P Gavin Floyd

I have an idea of where I am leaning...just wanted to see what everyone else would do

Wow. Zimmerman is a great Third Baseman but and I underline BUT he tends to be hurt all the time. On the other hand Beckett is losing it and Gavin Floyd is hit or miss. So to answer your question , I would keep my third baseman and draft pitching. Then again I have been hurt every year for getting too much pitching and never enough hitting.

theres no draft, as its a keeper league...16 teams 26 man rosters, so most teams have 8-10 pitchers, so only pitching left on the waiver wire are after the first 150 pitchers gone already

Beckett seems to be very off and on and Floyd is nothing special, so I'd probably stick with Zimmerman or try to get something better for him.

I'd go after a better 1-for-1 trade for Zimmerman than that deal.

pitching is much easier to get during the season than hitting. keep the hitter.

3rd base is such a hard position to find quality at, I would keep Zimmerman and hope he doesnt end up hurt as usual...

Even hurt he still will give 20-30 and 80-100 with .300

thanks guys, i passed on the trade...figured even with my weak pitching staff, I ended up up 3rd in pitching...and figure i ts easier to get lucky with pitching than hitting

I also would have passed on that offer. I wouldn't tie myself to Zimmerman for the longterm, but he's the best player in the deal and you should be able to find something better. He is injury prone, but so is pitching, in general. Keep shopping and good luck!
