MLB roundup: Chipper Jones will retire after 2012 season - MLB - Yahoo! Sports
I have always liked Chipper Jones. He was one of the best 3rd Basemen in the 90s through mid 2000s. He was always loyal to one team and will retire with the only team he has ever played for.

Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones announced Thursday that he will retire at the end of the 2012 season.
Jones, 39, leads all active players with 18 years of service with the same club, one more than the New York Yankees' Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera.
Jones has a .304 career batting average, with 454 home runs and 1,561 RBIs in 2,387 games. He and Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols are the only two active players to hit at least 400 career homers and have more walks than strikeouts.
Jones also ranks second all-time in batting average among switch-hitters behind Frankie Frisch (.316) and is third in homers behind Mickey Mantle (536) and Eddie Murray (504).
