Topps Tier One Baseball To Feature Bat Knob Collection

2012 Topps Tier One Baseball, which is set to release in June, not only has a whole new look and configuration, but will feature one of the most significant memorabilia inserts ever offered in a product.

Inserted into packs of Topps Tier One will be 100 one-of-a-kind Bat Knob cards from the some of the most legendary names to ever step on the diamond. With stars such as Ty Cobb, Hank Aaron, Joe DiMaggio and Babe Ruth highlighting the subject list, these amazing 1 of 1 cards will be the centerpiece of many collections.

It's cool, but for a product that releases 2 months after the season starts, wouldn't it make sense for the Pujols card to be Angels and not Cardinals? It feels like TOPPS is trying to pour salt on an open wound. I know a lot of Cardinals collectors that will not collect any Cardinals cards of Pujols.
