  • APBA baseball cards

Just in case y'all don't know what APBA cards are, they are baseball game cards. They have the players names, nickname, and other personal info. then columns of #'s for what is rolled on the dice and other #'s to then look up for the results (this info is on game boards).

I was just wondering if APBA baseball cards have any bv? I know they're not in Beckett. I have the 1964 season set of the 20 teams that were in the "big leagues" in 1964. I got it for Christmas in 1965 (the 1965 set hadn't hit the market by Christmas of '65). Also, if they have bv, does it vary based on condition ? Some of the cards are like NEW, and others were played with quite a lot and are dirty (but everything is readable on every card). Each TEAM has about 19-20 cards.
About a year later I ordered, and got, 20 card packets of 1934 Cardinals, APBA's ALL TIME GREATS, and APBA's ALL TIME "B" TEAM (NOTE - the ALL TIME TEAM's are from players and their GREAT(est) year 1901-1948 - 20 different players per GREAT TEAM).

    So, any thoughts/ideas concerning value(s) ?

In advance, THANKS for your help, opinions, replies, etc.

    Have a good day, Rodney

They sound very interesting. I don't know about book value, but surely they had an "antique" value. Old games and toys usually do.

I don't know much about these cards, but I have a set myself (not nearly as old though)

Last year, I bought a collection off of Craigslist and in the collection there was an APBA board game from 2000. It came with 30 cards. I never opened them up, but though it was unique and interesting.

If you want to see a picture, here's a link to my blog post about the whole CL purchase:
