Surprises & Disappointments So Far For 2012 MLB Season

For surprises, we can add Edwin Encarnacion to the list. So far he has 9 Home Runs and 24 RBIs.

As the TV character Gomer Pyle USMC would say - Surprise,surprise,surprise !!!!!! The "BIRDS", for now, have the BEST W-L record in the MAJOR LEAGUES at 19-9. And if the NATIONALS win Gomer would say it again, because they'd TIE the "BIRDS" for the BEST W-L record in the MAJOR LEAGUES.

I hope BOTH of these teams can continue to do so for the ENTIRE SEASON.

Well, about 1/4 of the season has been played and the ORIOLES are still on top of the A L EAST. Also, they have the best W-L record in the A L (26-14) with only the DODGERS a few % points ahead of them (25-13). It would be VERY VERY VERY NICE if this could continue through the other 3/4th's of the 2012 season. Keep it up "BIRDS" !!!!!

Also, another somewhat surprise, the NATIONALS are having a great season !!! Unfortunately, either the "Birds" or the "Nats' will again lose today and tomorrow as they play interleague. Hopefully they will both make the playoffs for 2012, and even more to the W S.
