    Evan Longoria Out 6 To 8 Weeks

    Rays' Longoria placed on DL with hamstring tear - Yahoo! Sports

    Reports say out 6-8 weeks. Not good.

    The three-time All-Star was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a partially torn left hamstring Tuesday. Replacing his bat and glove won't be easy.

      Huge loss for the Rays. Hamstring injuries tend to linger, so this could be awhile.
