    Not a bad pickup at all for the Mets.. Gives them a nice 4th outfielder and a decent bat off the bench

      more importantly for NYM.... someone to play CF while Beltran is out

        I think Pagan would have been enough to patrol CF while Beltran recovered.. But this signing may also mean that Beltran may be out longer than anyone expected.. Also heard that they sent away Brian Stokes.. He was pretty good out of the bullpen for them last year.. Had some bad days that really outshone the good ones

          Matthews was the worst Angels signing (dollar and year wise) I have ever seen. I am glad they got rid of him, anything they get out of Stokes will be a plus.

            haha I love that the Angels are paying $21 of the $23 million left on his contract
