    I was shocked!

    I was coaching my 11 year old son's team today. The opposing team had their kid steal second. Our catcher put a nice throw to 2nd. The base runner beat the throw, but slid about a foot short of the base. The ump called him safe.

    I yelled "He's out. He didn't make it to the base. He is still not on the base."

    The ump replied "Don't yell at me, I'm a sensitive person."

          He didn't change the call, but it certainly flustered him. A few pitches later, another kid stole second. The throw beat him ,but the SS dropped the ball. He called him out and the other coach started yelling. He said "If one more person yells at me, I'm leaving".

          You can't make this stuff up!!!!
