  • UCLA Baseball Earn No.1 Seed In NCAA Tournament

It's been exciting this time of year for the UCLA Bruins the past couple of years. This is the third straight season that UCLA will be hosting an NCAA Regional. These games are great to watch because UCLA has been in the World Series talk for the past two seasons. They don't have Gerrit Cole or Trevor Bauer anymore, but they still managed to have a great season by finishing No. 2 overall.

Hopefully this is the year, that UCLA Baseball can add their first National Championship. Go out to Jackie Robinson and catch a game. It's a great environment and you could watch some future major leaguers.

    From UCLA:

LOS ANGELES - UCLA has earned the No. 2 national seed in the 64-team NCAA Baseball Touranment and will host an NCAA Regional at Jackie Robinson Stadium for the third consecutive season, beginning on Friday, June 1.

Seeded No. 1 in the NCAA Los Angeles Regional, UCLA (42-14) will face No. 4-seed Creighton (26-28) on Friday. No. 2-seed San Diego (40-15) will face No. 3-seed New Mexico (36-22) in the other regional contest that day. Each of 16 NCAA Regionals features a four-team, double-elimination format.

The Bruins have captured one of the tournament's eight national seeds for the second time in school history. UCLA was awarded the No. 6 national seed in 2010.

Game times will be released Monday, as determined by the NCAA.
