According to ESPN.com's Buster Olney they've agreed to acquire Carlos Lee from the Astros for Matt Dominguez and Rob Rasmussen in a move that should provide Miami with some much-needed offense at first base.

Nie time to take a chance if you're the Astros. Dominguez and Rasmussen were drafted pretty high and I know Dominguez has some power (just doesn't put the ball in play enough). Anyways, getting Lee out and looking at some other players makes this deal smart.

Did Lee have Marlins on his veto list? I think that is the issue.

I was surprised he didn't accept the Dodgers deal and that the Astros had multiple teams interested.
