The Yankees took a 5-0 lead in the first tonight (7/31). However, the "Birds" came back with seven (7) runs in the 2nd, powered by Davis' GRAND SLAM, taking a 7-5 lead and NEVER looked back. The final score was 11-5. The "Birds" vs. Yankees are now 5-5 for the season, much much much better than how they were against the Yankees last year. Hopefully they will win again tomorrow, and SWEEP the Yankees in this series.

According to this mornings paper (The Virginian-Pilot), and STATS,LLC, the Yankees haven't led by five or more after the first inning and then trailed after the second since at least 1918 !!! Way to go "Birds" !!!!!
