  • What is your Top 10 MLB Prospects list for 2013

    My list would be...

    1. Jurickson Profar
    2. Dylan Bundy
    3. Wil Myers
    4. Jameson Tallion
    5. Jose Fernandez
    6. Trevor Bauer
    7. Gerrit Cole
    8. Miguel Sano

    10. Shelby Miller
Over a million plus cards in collection looking to consolidate. I have from vintage to modern cards with a wide variety but none are complete sets. I look to collect modern prospect autographs.

Hopefully he will. From what I heard he has some personality issues and the Cards were shopping him at the deadline. But that is all hearsay unless you are there. My list was only for prospects that were still considered prospects entering next spring and what my thoughts are on who would be my Top 10.

He was called up yesterday. He was really immature. Last year he got himself into trouble at AA with underage drinking. The Cardinals punished him by suspending him for a trip to Texas. Shelby Miller is making his debut right now!

Sorry, I had to watch him pitch. I'll finish my thought on him now. After the suspension, he straightened his act up. His problem at AAA this year, was mechanics and pitch selection. He's worked that out too.

He pitched a perfect 6th inning with 1 strikeout.

I can't disagree with your picks. As long as I don't have to hear Bryce Harper's name every 15 seconds, I'm happy!

I am not against Shelby by any means. Just seen too many top talents take the wrong road in their careers and I hope he can make better decisions for the future.
He will remain a prospect until I believe 55 IP in the Majors so his Prospect tag will still be implied as of next year as it still did for Matt Moore/Mike Trout this year.

            Good points.

            Final line on Shelby Miller's debut:2 IP, O BB, 4 K, 1 Hit, 29 pitches-20 for strikes. Very good.

I never said the talent wasn't there and I root that he does good. Lets just hope the moment doesn't overwhelm him and he stays humble.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying you're wrong. He just happened to pitch while I was on this thread, so I posted his stats. He probably won't get 55 IP this year.

Well lets see what he does in September and the future beyond that. I'll have an eye just because I like watching kids succeed. Playoffs are almost here. Let the games begin.
