So much for their dream season. Not pitching Strasburg is going to haunt them for a long time. I thought it was over when Nats were up 6-0 after the 3rd. -

Oh well, the 2012 MLB season, for me, came to a close last night. The BEST TEAM (Nationals) in the N L and the 2nd BEST TEAM (Orioles) in the A L were eliminated. No "BELTWAY" WORLD SERIES for 2012. However, both had outstanding 2012 seasons. Hopefully they will play just as well in 2013.
The "BIRDS", with the exception of the ninth inning of game one vs. the Yankees, played very well. And the Nationals played a great game last night until they had two out and two strikes on the batter in the ninth, then the bottom fell out. Hopefully, Showalter and Johnson will get MANAGER of the YEAR in the A L & N L, they both did great jobs as their teams were in it from beginning through last night.
Watch out A L & N L, the "BIRDS" & "NATS" will be back in 2013.
