Dodgers Win Bidding For Hyun-Jin Ryu: MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com

MLB has confirmed that the Dodgers won the bidding for Ryu, reports Ken Rosethal of FOX Sports (on Twitter). Mike Petriello of the blog Mike Scioscia's Tragic Illness first reported that the Dodgers won the bidding last night.

The winning bid for Korean left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu was $25,737,737.33, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com (on Twitter). Ryu is a Scott Boras client and it's a record amount for a South Korean player.

He wants to be a starter and he would be our 3/4 guy.

He wants to, but can he? That's the (probably) $50 million dollar question.

Dodgers are going to go all Yankee during this off season. That Time Warner TV deal is coming up soon too.
