Its only 1 year which is good. Wonder how much they gave him money wise. Lets hope he doesnt get injured for the whole year like last season.

          Angels Sign Reliever Ryan Madson

The Angels are finally trying to get some help for their bullpen which was their weakness last season. Ryan Madson signed with the Cincinnati Reds last season, but didn't play a single game because he had major elbow surgery.

          From the LA Times:
Ryan Madson passed his physical, and the veteran reliever's one-year, $3.5-million deal with the Angels became official Wednesday.
Madson can make an additional $2.5 million based on the number of days he spends on the active roster and an additional $1 million in games-finished incentives.
Eight months removed from ligament-replacement surgery, there is a good chance that Madson, a 6-foot-6 right-hander from Moreno Valley, will start the 2013 season on the disabled list.
