    Angels & Josh Hamilton Agree to a 5 Year Deal

    For the second time in as many offseasons, the Angels have signed the top free agent position player to a surprising long-term contract. The Angels have agreed to sign Josh Hamilton to a five-year deal, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports.

    It's a five-year, $125MM contract, ESPNDallas.com reports.

          It will be interesting to look at the signing of Pujols and now Hamilton in about 3 years. The Halos will either be geniuses, or looking like ignorant, broke fools.
          Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel
          Favorite football players include: Peyton Manning, John Elway, Daunte Culpepper, Mike Alstott, Blake Bortles, and Dri Archer
          Collecting: 2012 Topps Mini 1987 topps... non-certified autos (in person or through the mail), autographed cards with bible verses

            Well the ANGELS must have hit a GOLD MINE. According to this mornings sports section of my local newspaper, before this about Josh Hamilton being signed, their players salary load for 2013 was already over $200 million. Have the New York Yankees moved to Anaheim, CA. ??? Because, they were surely known for spending the BIG BUCKS to lure players to their team. However, to my knowledge, even the Yankees have never spent like the Angels are now doing.

            The main items Im looking to trade for are
            Baseball HOFers Autos I need
            Orioles Autos I need
            Baseball HOFers GU I need
            Orioles GU I need
            Vintage Orioles I need 1950s through 1970
            However other offers will be considered

              It is all about tv money. The angels new tv deal is $150 mil per year so they are well set moving forward financially just like the dodgers will be.

                I read this morning that the Dodgers payroll was set to top the Yankees' in 2013, but the Angels may take that spot now. If the Angels don't win at least 1 more World Series, they'll definitely be one of the biggest busts ever in professional sports. Wait! Has anyone heard if Jeffrey Laurie bought into Angels ownership? That could explain it all!

                          This does give them a legitimate shot to have 4 players(Trumbo, Trout, Pujols and Hamilton) post 40 HR's and 100 RBI's....
