    The Marlins have agreed to sign Placido Polanco, Danny Knobler of CBSSports.com reports. The agreement with the ACES client is pending a physical. Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald first reported that the sides were nearing a one-year, $2.75MM contract.

          Ultimate team player. I love Polanco. I wish he could have stayed heath in Philly. I also think Charlie could have used him a little better by placing him more in the 2 hole.
          Favorite baseball players include: Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, Kirby Puckett, Pete Rose, Tyler Colvin Mark Appel
          Favorite football players include: Peyton Manning, John Elway, Daunte Culpepper, Mike Alstott, Blake Bortles, and Dri Archer

              I wish he woulda stayed in Philly. Knowing the Marlins though, they'll probably trade him back to the Phillies for a low grade prospect by the middle of the season. Along with Stanton.
