    Rangers & Lance Berkman Agree to a 1 Year Deal

    Rangers To Sign Lance Berkman : MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com

    The Rangers finalizing an agreement with Lance Berkman, a source tells Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. The deal is believed to be for one year and might include a vesting option for the Moye Sports Associates client.

    Berkman will receive a $10MM salary with a $1MM buyout, according to Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com.

    So Berkman replaces Hamilton. Uh didnt Berkman only play in like 15 games last season?

        Berkman will be their everyday DH, so he basically replaces Michael Young. He should be able to stay healthy by just being a DH.

          If he's healthy, he's great. He was an integral part of the Cardinals winning the 2011 World Series.
